ASPPH Presents: Public Health Law Research Part II: Developing and Implementing a Policy Evaluation Using Open-Source Legal Data

Purpose: To introduce participants to the theory, design and implementation of a policy evaluation using policy surveillance datasets.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the process for developing a conceptual diagram for a study
  • Discuss at least two theories that could be used to guide the development of a study
  • Identify various sources of open-source legal data; and
  • Develop a study design to evaluate a public health law or policy.
