Please join us for the 2016 Undergraduate Public Health and Global Health Education Summit, co-sponsored by the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) and the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U). The Summit is Sunday, March 20 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Tom Farley, CEO of The Public Good Projects and Former Commissioner of Health for New York City. The all-day Undergraduate Summit will feature presenters representing academic institutions with undergraduate public health programs, CEPH-accredited schools and programs of public health, and organizations working closely with undergraduate public health education initiatives. During the luncheon at the Undergraduate Summit, the 2016 Riegelman Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Education Award will be presented. Please note early bird registration ends Friday January 15.
In conjunction with the Undergraduate Summit, on Monday, March 21 and Tuesday, March 22, ASPPH will host its 2016 Annual Meeting at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia. The Annual Meeting will have plenary sessions and concurrent sessions all day followed by receptions in the evening. At Monday’s reception we will also present the ASPPH Faculty and Staff awards. The ASPPH Welch-Rose Award for Distinguished Service to Academic Public Health winner will be honored at the luncheon on Tuesday. View the full draft schedule.
