This year’s 2019 Annual Meeting was a tremendous success! From lively discussions with colleagues, visits to Capitol Hill, and collaboration with national and global partners, the meeting showcased the engagement and energy of our faculty, staff, and students. This year, more than 700 people registered and attended our Annual Meeting with 93 percent of our member schools and programs represented. About 20 percent of the meeting participants were from the larger public health practice community and an incredible representation of 14 countries made our meeting truly global. The ASPPH Annual Meeting again showed the strength of meeting and learning together as an academic public health community.
Next week’s Friday Letter will feature an article with 2019 ASPPH Annual Meeting Highlights, including a photo gallery. View the 2019 ASPPH opening and closing videos on ASPPH’s YouTube channel.
