The Action Collaborative on Bridging Public Health, Health Care, and Community is launching a call for abstracts concerning health care-public health collaboration in terms of community health needs assessments (CHNAs).
The collaborative would like to elucidate on the nature of investments and efforts across the nation that both local public health agencies and hospitals must make to collaborate, and is seeking CHNA-related collaboration examples to elevate and disseminate. The collaborative will select a subset of abstracts that meet minimum criteria and seem exemplary in the quality and outcomes of their collaboration, and ask their authors for more information to develop a set papers on the topic of collaboration on CHNA planning and implementation.
The abstract call will close on May 30 and authors of selected abstracts will be notified by July 6. The papers are scheduled to be published during the fall of 2018.
