Ms. Donna Grande, vice president at the American Nurses Association, has been named the next executive director of the American College of Preventive Medicine. She started May 21, and for the next six weeks, will work closely with current executive director, Mr. Mike Barry, to facilitate continuity of operations and an effective transition of leadership.

Since 2013, Ms. Grande led the enhancement and expansion of the ANA Leadership Institute and provided executive leadership for an expanding portfolio of business. She quickly was promoted to vice president of products and services leading a team of 20 professionals and a portfolio of $17 million in non-dues revenues. Her career spans work that ranges from grassroots and community programs to association management, board facilitation, marketing, communication, policy, and business. Before coming to ANA, she served with the Academy for Educational Development, the Visiting Nurse Associations of America, and the American Medical Association. In addition to her association management and business expertise, she is actively involved in volunteer work with the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and is certified in Assessments with the Center for Creative Leadership, and is a Gallup, Inc. certified Strengths Coach.
