ASPPH Data Center staff visited the George Mason University MPH Program on Tuesday for a 90 minute member consultation on collecting and submitting institutional data through the ASPPH Data Center Member Portal. Ms. Emily Burke, program manager of data analytics, and Ms. Robyn Brigham, program coordinator of data analytics, met with George Mason’s Dr. Robert Weiler, professor and chair of the department of global and community health, Dr. Cara Frankenfeld, director of graduate programs, and Ms. Kelly Beckwith, MPH program coordinator, to provide institution-specific guidance and to facilitate discussion around efficient data reporting. With ASPPH and CEPH annual reporting in full swing, the consultation focused on system functionality, working with multiple departments within the institution to report data, cross-walking institutional data with ASPPH data elements for membership comparability data, and using ASPPH Data Center Member Portal analytics to create peer comparison reports and conduct data-driven decision-making.
