ASPPH is launching several online forums which will allow members to exchange ideas and connect with others with similar interests. The forums will connect via ASPPH Online Communities and will be open to all faculty and staff of ASPPH-member Schools and Programs of Public Health.
The forums which will be launched later this month are:
Description: Sharing of resources and approaches to educate/train students in environmental health; share research to advance our knowledge of the impact of environmental and occupational exposures on human health.
Description: Sharing of promising practices and resources to support the training of students interested in pursuing careers focused on MCH and the training of current MCH professionals. In addition, the forum supports the sharing of research focused on improving the health of all mothers, children, and families.
Description: Exploration and info sharing around technological innovations, educational theories/methods, and assessment strategies that enable faculty to enhance their teaching for improving student learning outcomes.
Description: Discussions and sharing of best practices related to lifelong learning/continuing education. Strategies for engagement of the public health community in programs, content development, models, methodology, and resources for workforce development in different contexts and stages of professional life.
ASPPH member faculty and staff can join one or more of these forums.
