World No Tobacco Day, observed on Thursday, May 31, was established to highlight the health risks associated with tobacco use and advocate for effective policies to reduce tobacco consumption. This year’s theme is “Tobacco and heart disease”. ASPPH stands with other public health partners to commemorate the day. ASPPH members are partners in global efforts to reduce tobacco use.
