ASPPH is now accepting applications for the ASPPH Public Health Internship Program for Summer 2017. This internship is based at ASPPH headquarters in Washington, DC. The internship will provide a unique experience where the selected student can apply their skills and knowledge learned in the classroom to public health projects of importance to ASPPH and our members. The deadline to apply is Friday, March 24.
“Through the summer internship position at ASPPH, I was able to gain a greater understanding and apply public health knowledge obtained through my graduate program,” writes Ms. Jenni Song, former ASPPH intern. “The enriched environment at ASPPH in Washington, DC allowed me to grow both professionally and personally as a future public health professional.”
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Specific skills required are listed in the program announcement. Candidates must be able to begin the internship in late-May or early-June 2017 and stay for a minimum of 10 weeks. Applications must be submitted online via the ASPPH Fellowships and Internships Online Application System.
