ASPPH presented two posters at the Academic Public Health Caucus poster sessions held at the 2015 APHA Annual Meeting this past week in Chicago.
The first poster, Education for Population Health across All Professions, highlighted the work of the Framing the Future Population Health across All Professions expert panel that was charged with offering guidance for integrating population health concepts into the professional and interprofessional curricula of health and other professions, with the vision that cross-disciplinary collaboration is essential to improve population health outcomes and health equity.

The second poster, Academic Public Health: Student Practicum as a Bridge to Practice, illustrated the results of a study supported through the ASPPH/CDC Centers for Surveillance, Epidemiology and Laboratory Services cooperative agreement that examined the practicum experiences of graduate students at ASPPH member schools and programs of public health in governmental health agencies.

The posters were designed to be interactive and were successful in engaging both academic and practice partners.
