This webinar will discuss how schools and programs of public health can close the gap between academic research and practice. Mechanisms include: small faculty grants for dissemination, translation; support for consultation with public officials and agencies; co-hiring staff for public health agencies; and the strategic convening of “expert panels” to guide policy. The webinar will highlight multiple examples of mechanisms to bridge research and practice.
