Last week ASPPH Data Center, Student Recruitment, and SOPHAS staff met with administrators at Pennsylvania State University Public Health Program and Arcadia University College of Health Sciences MPH Program to provide member consultation and onboarding services and resources.
On Thursday, January 11, Ms. Emily Burke, program manager of data analytics and Mr. Guy Piotrowski, manager of centralized application services, met with Pennsylvania State University Public Health Program administrators to help inform their admissions strategy using both a SOPHAS Applicant Profile and multiple resources on the ASPPH Data Center Portal. Attending from Penn State were Dr. Wenke Hwang, director, MPH program and associate professor, public health sciences, Dr. Robin Taylor Wilson, director, DrPH program and associate professor, public health sciences, Dr. Betsy Aumiller, associate director, DrPH program and assistant professor, division of health services research, Ms. Carol LaRegina, associate director, MPH program, Ms. Michelle La Clair, instructor, public health sciences, Ms Julie Lentes, instructor, public health sciences, Ms. Stacey Zygmunt, career counselor and accreditation coordinator, public health sciences, and Ms. Shannon Bowman-Tuininga, education program associate, public health sciences.
On Friday, January 12, the Arcadia University College of Health Sciences MPH Program hosted an ASPPH site visit. Mr. Guy Piotrowski, manager of centralized application services, Ms. Tracie Seward, manager of student services and Ms. Emily Burke, program manager of data analytics, presented on ASPPH member services including SOPHAS admission procedures and application review, recruitment activities and data analytics. Attending from Arcadia were Dr. Katie Disantis, chair of public health and Ms. Karena Whitmore, department administrative assistant.
