ASPPH is excited to welcome Ms. Chika J. Akparanta, Ms. Enhui (Lucy) Chen, and Ms. Christine Truong as the 2015 ASPPH Summer Interns. This summer, ASPPH has recruited graduate students from our member schools and programs for the 10-week-long ASPPH Headquarters Summer Internship Program in Washington, DC. They will be working on a variety of projects, including data analytics, undergraduate education, accreditation, communications, and student recruitment.
Ms. Chika J. Akparanta received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The College of New Jersey. She is currently pursuing her Master in Public Health at Rutgers University, and will graduate in December 2015. Ms. Akparanta will be working on undergraduate education and policy projects.
Ms. Enhui (Lucy) Chen received her Bachelor of Science in both Biological Chemistry and Biotechnology from Saint Peter’s University. She is currently pursuing her Master in Public Health at Emory University Rollins School of Public Health, and will graduate in May 2016. Ms. Chen will be working on data analytics and accreditation projects.
Ms. Christine Truong received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Washington. She is currently pursuing her Master in Public Health at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, and will graduate in May 2016. Ms. Truong will be working on marketing, communication, and student recruitment projects.
