Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH) alumna Ms. Christina Ciociola (MPH’99) has been appointed senior vice president for grant making and strategy for the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven.
Ms. Ciociola earned her MPH from BUSPH with a dual concentration in epidemiology and biostatistics. She also holds a BA in psychology from Merrimack College and received her MSW from Boston University School of Social Work with a specialty in gerontology.
The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven awarded more than $24 million in grants and distributions in 2013 from an endowment of approximately $430 million comprising hundreds of individually named funds. In addition to its grantmaking, the foundation works to improve student achievement, reduce New Haven’s infant mortality rate, promote local philanthropy, and encourage community awareness.
