The Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH) Center for Advancing Health Policy and Practice (CAHPP) is working with AIDS United to disseminate and evaluate four interventions to increase linkage to and retention in HIV care.
CAHPP (formerly the Health & Disability Working Group) received $2.5 million last year to serve as the dissemination and evaluation center for a five-year, national, first-of-its-kind project to disseminate and test evidence-informed HIV interventions for populations facing disparities.
Using an implementation-science approach, CAHPP will provide evaluation-related technical assistance to 12 sites across the country and spearhead dissemination findings, while AIDS United will provide implementation expertise and technical assistance. Grantees will implement one of the following four interventions:
“This is an opportunity to advance the innovative research conducted through HRSA SPNS and create evidence-based models for future replication,” said Dr. Jane Fox, the CAHPP principal investigator for the initiative.
