Ms. Karen Carroll Bennett has been appointed the new associate dean of administration for Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH).
Ms. Bennett comes to BUSPH from Tufts University, where she was director of business operations for the past two years. At Tufts, Ms. Bennett developed and managed all business operations for the Tufts Shared Services Center and helped create the center’s Customer Relationship Management system.
Before her time at Tufts, Ms. Bennett had a long career at WGBH, Boston’s public television station, including most recently serving as director of administration, national programming. During her time at the station, she was a manager for the NOVA and Frontline documentary series. She officially began her new BUSPH position on January 1.
In an announcement to BUSPH staff, Dean Sandro Galea said Ms. Bennett will be a core member of the school’s leadership team. “Ms. Bennett brings to the role leadership experience, a track record of excellence in management, and boundless enthusiasm for the mission of our school,” he wrote.
