The Vilcek-Gold Award for Humanism in Healthcare recognizes immigrant healthcare professionals whose work demonstrates an outstanding commitment to humanistic, community-centered care.
The Vilcek Foundation and The Arnold P. Gold Foundation are currently hosting an open call for nominations for the 2021 award.
The 2021 Vilcek-Gold Award includes an unrestricted cash prize of $10,000, and will be presented at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) annual meeting in November. Past recipients of the award include Drs. Vivek Murthy and Mona Hanna-Attisha.
Nominators may submit any foreign-born person based in the United States whose work in healthcare, medicine, or public health demonstrates a commitment to humanistic values for consideration.
