Dr. Stephen J. Reynolds, is this year’s Meritorious Achievement Award winner from the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH). This award is given to members who have made outstanding, long-term contributions to the field of occupational health and industrial hygiene.

Dr. Reynolds is a professor and associate head of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences at Colorado State University, as well as in the department of environmental and occupational health at Colorado School of Public Health. He is board certified in Industrial Hygiene and has more than 30 years of experience in exposure assessment and occupational health. Dr. Reynolds’ recent research interests involve application of new molecular biology techniques to investigate microbiome, and antimicrobial resistance in agricultural environments.
