Consortium of Universities for Global Health and Johns Hopkins Sponsoring Untold Stories Contest

Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health’s publication, Global Health NOW, is collaborating with the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) to identify underreported stories. Enter your ideas by February 25.

Please nominate an issue you feel deserves urgent attention, whether you have worked on it firsthand or come across it in your travels. The best nominations should be unique and specific (i.e., not chronic disease in the developing world, as it is too broad an issue) and should include available data and evidence.

The winning story will be documented onsite by a freelance journalist and published on the soon-to-launch GHN website and in the CUGH newsletter. The person who nominates the winning idea will also receive a free registration for the CUGH conference.

If you know an important global health story that has been ignored or underreported by the media, nominate your idea online at http://www.jhsph.edu/news/global-health-now/untold-stories-contest.html.
