CUNY Launches MPH in Public Health Geographic Information Science

In response to the growing demand within public health for skills in geographic information science (GISc), the MPH program at Lehman College, which is part of the City University of New York School of Public Health, now offers a specialization in Public Health Geographic Information Science. “Training qualified public health professionals who also have GISc skills will give them the ability to examine, analyze, and disseminate important public health information in ways their counterparts simply cannot,” said Dr. Andrew Maroko, assistant professor at the CUNY School of Public Health and Lehman College.
