The call for abstracts for the 8th Annual Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation is open through August 20. A forum for discussing the science of dissemination and implementation, the 8th annual conference aims to grow the research base by bridging the gap between evidence, practice, and policy in health and medicine.
One of the eight tracks for the 2015 conference is Prevention and Public Health. The areas of focus for this track include: applications of prevention science methods within dissemination and implementation research studies; studies of the implementation of hospitals and health care systems collaboration with community organizations and/or governmental public health to promote disease prevention; studies of evidence-based multifaceted and multilevel interventions to disseminate and implement prevention programs; and the use of Community-Based Participatory Research in disease prevention and health promotion.
