Drexel Alumna Named Student Representative to National Maternal & Child Health Teachers Association

The Association of Teachers of Maternal & Child Health (ATMCH) recently named Ms. Kiana Hardy as student representative to the organization. In her role as student representative, Ms. Hardy will speak on behalf of students as a part of the executive committee and work to bridge the gap between current MCH leaders and students to foster professional relationships earlier and an exchange of interests and ideas.

Ms. Hardy received a Master of Public Health with a concentration in health management and policy and maternal child health in 2016 from the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a concentration in pre-medical studies in 2010 from Spelman College. She has worked in research and project management at Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and served as a MCH Section Fellow for APHA during the 2015-2016 academic year.
