Drexel Finds Increasing Trend of Hospitalization Due to Hypertensive Diseases in U.S. Adults

According to a recent study led by Dr. Longjian Liu, an associate professor in the department of epidemiology and biostatistics at Drexel University School of Public Health, the prevalence of hospitalization attributable to hypertensive disease significantly increased among the U.S. adults from 1980 to 2007. Drs. Yuan An and Xiaohua Hu from Drexel University College of Information Science and Technology, and Drs. Edgar Chou and Howard Eisen from Drexel University College of Medicine are the article’s coauthors.
