Climate change has brought about a dramatic increase in natural disasters across the United States and around the world. Catastrophic floods, fires, tornadoes and other events are challenging urban public health departments and disaster preparedness experts as never before.
As part of the upcoming 2019 Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health Urban Health Symposium, a panel on “Addressing urban health crises and disaster preparedness: the perspective of urban health leaders” will share insights and approaches to these critical issues.
