Emory and Alzheimer’s Association Offer Free Curriculum on Alzheimer’s

As Alzheimer’s gains more national attention as a looming public health crisis, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Alzheimer’s Association, and Emory University Rollins School of Public Health are working to raise awareness among the future public health workforce. “A Public Health Approach to Alzheimer’s and Other Dementias” is a free curricular resource developed by the Alzheimer’s Association and Emory, with funding from CDC. Created for use by faculty, the curriculum introduces public health students to information about Alzheimer’s and other dementias as well as public health approaches to address Alzheimer’s as a multi-layered, growing public health challenge.
