This year, two distinguished faculty members from the Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington have been selected by Eta Sigma Gamma National Health Education Honorary for their outstanding achievements and contributions. Dean Mohammad Torabi is the 2014 recipient of the Presidential Award. The award honors Dean Torabi’s remarkable record of teaching, service, scholarship, and leadership activities that have earmarked his professional career. Dr. David Lohrmann, professor of applied health science, is the 2013 recipient of the Honor Award. The award is presented to individuals or organizations that have made major contributions to the health education profession through service, education, and/or research.
