2019 Undergraduate Public Health and Global Health Education Summit

The Call for Abstracts for the 2019 Undergraduate Public Health and Global Health Education Summit is now open. This event is co-sponsored by ASPPH and the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) and is held in conjunction with the 2019 ASPPH Annual Meeting. The Undergraduate Summit is all-day Wednesday, March 20 and the ASPPH Annual Meeting is March 20‐22, both events will be held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA.  

Since 2011 the annual Undergraduate Summit has brought together public health educators, professionals, and students involved or interested in undergraduate public health education, and will feature presenters representing academic institutions with undergraduate public health programs, CEPH-accredited schools and programs of public health, and organizations working closely with undergraduate public health education initiatives. 

Academicians, public health professionals, undergraduate public health students and recent alumni are invited to submit abstracts.  Abstracts must be submitted to one of the following topic areas: 

  1. Education 
  2. Practice 
  3. Faculty Development 
  4. Special/Other topics (e.g. writing skills, mental health, opioid crisis, CEPH accreditation, recruiting and retaining students and faculty, career services) 

The call for abstracts is now open. The deadline for submissions is Friday, October 19.

Information on lodging and registration fees will be available in November.
