AAMC-CDC Webinar Series - Teaching Population Health: Innovative Medical School Curricula for Biostatistics and Epidemiology

The next webinar in the AAMC-CDC Webinar Series will present innovative ways to teach biostatistics and epidemiology in clinically relevant scenarios and as the foundation for population health perspectives.  We will feature curriculum models used at Harvard Medical School and Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans to improve medical students’ training in population sciences.  Medical faculty, public health professionals, curriculum deans, and learners are invited to participate in this webinar and will have the opportunity to submit questions during an extended Q&A session after the presentations.  Speakers will include Emma Brown Morton-Eggleston, MD, Assistant Professor of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School; Richard DiCarlo, MD, Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Education at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans; and will be moderated by Yumi Jarris, MD, Professor of Family Medicine and Director of Medical Student Education at Georgetown University School of Medicine.
