ASPPH Presents: National Board of Public Health Examiners Certified in Public Health Exam New Content Outline

The Certified in Public Health exam is being updated so that it will test candidates on the skills and competencies needed in the public health workforce. The new exam will align closely with other workforce competencies as defined by organizations such as ASTHO and the Council of Linkages, as well as the revised CEPH criteria. The National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) conducted a Job Task Analysis to determine the tasks most often performed by members of the public health workforce. After a public commentary period and extensive analysis, new domains and a new content outline will be reviewed on this webinar. Webinar participants were invited to engage in a discussion about the public health tasks which will be tested, what this will mean for the public health workforce, and how to prepare to become certified under the content outline.
