The ASPPH Accreditation Committee hosted two “last pass” opportunities for ASPPH members to engage with the ASPPH leadership and the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) regarding the accreditation criteria proposed in Round 4:
After a brief introduction from ASPPH representatives, CEPH councilors, and CEPH staff, the bulk of the webinar featured dialogue in response to questions submitted by webinar participants. Attendees were encouraged to submit questions during registration to cue up the conversation.
Participants are also encouraged to suggest alternative wording/standards for all critiques prior to, during, and/or after the session via the registration form, the question box, or emailed directly to ASPPH staff.
See the round 4 draft criteria and data templates here. Comments are due to CEPH by Wednesday, September 7, 2016.
These ASPPH webinars are not intended to substitute for submission of written comments to CEPH by member institutions, but provide an opportunity for dialogue, suggestions, questions, and clarification while assisting ASPPH in preparing its Round 4 response.
These two August webinars represent the 6th and 7th webinars highlighting the current round of accreditation changes that will affect ASPPH members. You may view archived versions, per the webinar links along w/the transcripts of the Q&A for each prior session below:
