In recognition of the 20th anniversary of the Columbine High School shootings, this Colorado School of Public Health event will explore what we have learned about preventing school violence since the Columbine tragedy, what questions remain and – perhaps most important – what is preventing us from implementing what we have learned to end these tragedies.
Designed for scientists, school leaders, public health professionals, community members, public safety professionals, and decision-makers, this symposium will provide knowledge and tools to help us work together to advance violence prevention using a public health approach.
