Columbia: New Book Series Launches with Talk by Dr. Nadine Burke Harris on Childhood Adversity

The Mailman School of Public Health in partnership with Trauma-Free NYC, and The Center for Science & Society at Columbia University is hosting a Talk & Book Signing with world renowned pediatrician Dr. Nadine Burke Harris.

A pioneer in the field of medicine, Dr. Burke Harris is a leader in the movement to transform how we respond to early childhood adversity and the resulting toxic stress that dramatically impacts our health and longevity.

Dr. Burke Harris will be speaking on her work with childhood adversity and sharing insights from her upcoming book, The Deepest Well: Healing the Long-Term Effects of Childhood Adversity. 

Advanced copies of Dr. Burke Harris’ new book will be available at the event.
