Does your work involve activities in the areas of quality improvement, performance management, workforce development, accreditation, or community health assessment and improvement? Are you actively engaged in supporting your organization’s performance improvement (PI) efforts? A new competency set designed specifically for PI professionals working in public health is now available from the Public Health Foundation (PHF): Competencies for Performance Improvement Professionals in Public Health (PI Competencies).
Join PHF on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 1-2pm EST for a webinar introducing the new PI Competencies, which build on and align with the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals to describe skills desirable for public health PI professionals. This webinar offers an opportunity to learn more about the PI Competencies, how these competencies were developed, and how they can support workforce development efforts. Time will be available for questions and discussion.
This webinar is free and open to all. Visit the PHF website to download a copy of the competencies and the webinar webpage to learn more about the event or to register. Questions about the webinar or the PI Competencies may be shared with Ms. Kathleen Amos at firstname.lastname@example.org.
