Drexel University Urban Health Summer Institute

The Dornsife School of Public Health Urban health collaborative is hosing it’s third, annual Urban Health Summer Institute on June 18 – 24, 2018.  Early registrants—before April 30thwill receive a 50 percent discount.

All classes will be held at the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Summer Institute offers short courses in urban health research and practice opportunities for students, researchers, public health and allied professionals. This year, seven intensive courses will be offered, providing attendees with interactive, hands-on workshop and application-based opportunities and simulations. Courses include:

  • Introduction to Multilevel Analysis for Urban Health Research
  • Applied Workshop Series: Using GIS for Urban Health
  • Building Bridges: Collaboration Opportunities for Public Health and Health Care Professionals
  • Introduction to Bayesian Analysis for Public and Urban Health
  • Crisis and Risk Communication in Urban Health
  • Introduction to Evaluation in Urban Health
  • Introduction to Community-Based System Dynamics
