HealthStreet, a community engagement program at the University of Florida, is hosting a free national Our Community, Our Health town hall event on traumatic brain injury, Tuesday, Mar. 17 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Eastern. Our Community, Our Health is a series of conversations between researchers and community members from across the country.
The event can be viewed Mar. 17 via livestream. The event will be held in-person at UF HealthStreet, 2401 SW Archer Road in Gainesville. HealthStreet is supported by the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions, the UF College of Medicine and the UF Clinical and Translational Science Institute.
At this interactive town hall, a panel of scientists will discuss new progress in traumatic brain injury research, clinical interventions and innovative collaboration within the discipline. Experts include representatives from the UF Department of Neurology, UF Department of Clinical and Health Psychology, UF Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, as well as a Project Director of the Spaulding-Harvard Traumatic Brain Injury Model System from Harvard Medical School/Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.
