The University of Florida Department of Epidemiology at the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions and the UF College of Medicine will host Dr. Eduardo Villamor speaking on “Addressing causation through study design in perinatal epidemiology: New magic with old tricks” on Thursday, August 15 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern. The talk will also be available to view via livestream.
Dr. Villamor is a professor of epidemiology at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. His research focuses primarily on the study of child health and development with the use of epidemiologic methods. His research interests span a wide range of topics at the intersection of nutritional, perinatal, and infectious diseases epidemiology. They include studies of nutrition in child growth and development, early-life risk factors for chronic disease, and the interactions between nutrition and infection.
