The George Washington University’s Department of Environmental & Occupational Health and Office of Sustainability, in partnership with the U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP), will host a public symposium to discuss the draft report, “Impacts of Climate Change on Human Health in the United States: A Scientific Assessment.” The symposium will take place on April 24, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, at the Milken Institute School of Public Health in Washington, DC (a live webinar will be available as well).
All are welcome to join fellow public health students and professionals to learn more about the widespread effects of climate change on health in the United States. Attendees will gain insights into the production of the draft assessment and learn how to contribute to its public review. Lead authors will be available for questions and dialogue. Please see the event’s preliminary agenda for more information. Registration is required for in-person or remote attendance.
