The International Dose-Response Society has opened registration and announced a call for posters for its 16th annual conference, which will be held this year on April 18-19, 2017 at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Campus Center, with the theme “Preconditioning in Biology and Medicine: Mechanisms and Translational Research.”
The Society is dedicated to the enhancement, exchange, and dissemination of ongoing global research efforts in the field of hormesis. In addition, the Society also strongly encourages the assessment of the implications of hormesis for such diverse fields as toxicology, risk assessment, risk communication, medicine, numerous areas of biomedical research, and all other biological disciplines including relevant engineering domains dealing with the dose response.
Conference directors Edward Calabrese, Professor of Environmental Health Sciences, and Paul Kostecki, Professor Emeritus, expect the annual gathering to attract more than 100 scientists from around the world. They have issued a call for posters with Areas of Interest in Pre- Post-Conditioning in:
