The Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) is proud to announce the next event in our IPEC Webinar Series aimed at highlighting trends and activities in interprofessional education and practice.
Join us on Thursday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern for a webinar featuring a presentation by the University of Central Florida team on their project Harnessing the Strength of Inter-Professional Teams to Provide Comprehensive Care for the Farmworkers of Apopka, Florida. As recipients of the inaugural Public Health Excellence in Interprofessional Education Collaboration Award, Drs. Simms-Cendan and Peralta will provide key insights on the goals, public health significance, rationale, and results of their award-wining IPE program.
Health professions faculty, students, and clinicians will discover best practices and exemplars that they can use to assist with IPE efforts at their home institutions. Details for the upcoming 2018 USPHS IPEC Award cycle will also be announced during this webinar.
