Johns Hopkins: Guest Lecture: An Ecological Approach to Growing a Food, Climate, and Health Movement Wednesday, October 23

The Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future (CLF) is hosting a guest lecture on Wednesday, October 23. CLF is based at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Dr. Alessandro Demaio, CEO of Australia’s Victorian Health Promotion Foundation, will speak on an ecological approach to growing a food, climate, and health movement. A global leader in tackling chronic disease, Dr. Demaio trained and worked at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, and is a former medical officer with the World Health Organization. He co-hosts the ABC television show “Ask the Doctor,” which airs weekly in Australia and is available globally on Netflix.
