Johns Hopkins’ department of environmental health and engineering, which spans the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Whiting School of Engineering, is hosting a guest lecture at the Bloomberg School on Tuesday, January 21.
Dr. Joel Kauffman, a professor with joint appointments in the University of Washington’s departments of environmental and occupational health sciences, and medicine (general internal medicine), and epidemiology, will speak on the environmental factors in cardiopulmonary disease. Specifically, he will discuss integrating epidemiology, exposure sciences, and toxicology in a translational framework.
The event is part of the Menkes Lecture series.
