Johns Hopkins: Hosting 2nd Annual Welch Symposium | Wednesday, January 22

The interdisciplinary R3 Center for Innovation in Science Education at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is hosting the second annual Welch Symposium on Wednesday, January 22. The center is in the Bloomberg School’s department of molecular microbiology and immunology. The center emphasizes the “3 R’s” of (Rigor, Responsibility, and Reproducibility) of good scientific practice. The event is sponsored by the Katharine E. Welsh Foundation.

Speakers from multiple institutions will discuss rigorous methods and social responsibility in graduate education in an era of open science.
