The International Center for Maternal and Newborn Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is hosting a guest lecture on Monday, Nov. 19. Dr. Dileep Mavalankar, head of the Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinaga, will present a lecture titled, “Progress of Maternal Health in India and Future Challenges.” Dr. Mavalankar has worked on maternal health and especially on emergency obstetric care and midwifery development over 20 years. He is selected as Honorary Fellow of Indian College of OBGYN due to his contribution to maternal health.
