LSU: Global Health Colloquium on Participating in International Medical Education in Haiti

Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Public Health, in conjunction with LSUHSC Committee on International Educational Experience, LSUSOM Student International Health Organization, and LSUSPH Global Health Interest Group, Presents a Global Health Colloquium on Participating in International Medical Education in Haiti: With an invitation to participants to acquire an adjunct faculty appointment on the Henry Christophe Faculty of Medicine, State University of Haiti at Limonade, Haiti.

The purpose of this colloquium is to examine formulating a response by the professional global health community to answer a specific need regarding assistance in teaching the medical curriculum at the newly established Haitian state medical school in Limonade, Haiti. Faculty has been chosen ranging from experienced medical educators from the United States, Haiti, and Canada to MPH student participants who will present specific topics engineered to demonstrate solutions to dual-language presentations, cultural sensitivity to curriculum requirements, international accreditation issues, and optimizing existing medical training materials.  For more information go to Event Program or RSVP here.
