Minnesota: Healthcare Leadership Symposium 2018 Nov. 9 in Minneapolis

Registration is now open to the public for the Healthcare Leadership Symposium 2018 taking place on Friday, Nov. 9 in Minneapolis, MN. This one day symposium will explore how bold ideas, innovative systems and inspired leadership will shape the future of healthcare.

Keynote speaker: Barbara Young

Barbara, Baroness Young of Old Scone, is a current member of the United Kingdom’s House of Lords. Young held the position of Chief Executive Officer of the health charity Diabetes UK from 2010 until 2015. Before joining Diabetes UK, Young set up the Care Quality Commission (CQC), an executive non-departmental public body of the Department of Health and Social Care of the United Kingdom. It was established in 2009 to regulate and inspect the quality of health and social care services in England. In her presentation, Young will discuss how the role of the leader can be made more robust in a complex, changing, global health care environment.
