The Health Workforce Technical Assistance Training Center (HWTAC), based at the University at Albany School of Public Health’s Center for Health Workforce Studies (CHWS), will host a webinar on the topic of Community Health Assessment How-to. The webinar, scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm EDT, will Robert Martiniano, senior program manager, Center for Health Workforce Studies and Lottie Jameson, director of Regional Planning and Development, Adirondack Health Institute. The webinar will focus on the steps in developing a community health assessment, including identifying data sources, as well how to engage stakeholders, prioritize competing demands, and develop strategies during the process.
HWTAC was formed as a partnership between CHWS and the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research at the University of North Carolina. HWTAC is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Health Resources and Services Administration in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
