SUNY Albany to Offer Free Webinar on Understanding How the Diffusion of Physicians Affects Underserved Areas

The Health Workforce Technical Assistance Training Center (HWTAC), based at the University at Albany School of Public Health’s Center for Health Workforce Studies (CHWS), will host a webinar on the topic of Understanding How the Diffusion of Physicians Affects Underserved Areas.  The webinar, scheduled for Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 2:00 pm EDT, will feature Thomas C. Ricketts, PhD, MPH, Carolina Health Workforce Research Center & Cecil G Sheps Center for Health Services Research.  The webinar will focus on Mr. Ricketts work on physician diffusion, and explain its effects and policy implications on underserved areas.  The webinar is free and open to all.

HWTAC was formed as a partnership between CHWS and the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research at the University of North Carolina. HWTAC is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Health Resources and Services Administration in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
