SUNY Albany Webcast: Breastfeeding Grand Rounds 2016

University at Albany School of Public Health’s Center for Public Health Continuing Education will host Breastfeeding Grand Rounds 2016, a free, live webcast on the topic Building a Continuum of Care to Support Exclusive Breastfeeding in New York State, on Thursday, August 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Eastern. The 2016 Breastfeeding Grand Rounds will highlight three interventions – the WIC Program’s “Exclusive Breastfeeding Learning Community,” the “Breastfeeding Quality Improvement in Hospitals,” and the “Breastfeeding Friendly Practice Designation.” The webcast will feature Dr. Ruth Lawrence, Professor of Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Gynecology, University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and the NYSDOH program leaders who pioneered these interventions. The panelists will share strategies, challenges and best practices that are positively changing breastfeeding trends in New York State.
