SUNY Albany Webinar – Parkinson’s Disease: The Importance of an Interdisciplinary Approach for Identification, Treatment and Patient Support

University at Albany School of Public Health’s Center for Public Health Continuing Education will host a free, live webcast on the topic Parkinson’s Disease: The Importance of an Interdisciplinary Approach for Identification, Treatment and Patient Support on Thursday, January 21, 2016, from 9 am to 10 am Eastern.  The broadcast will feature Dr. Miran Salgado.

Chairman, Department of Neurosciences, New York Methodist Hospital & Medical Director, American Parkinson Disease Association Information and Resource Center at New York Methodist Hospital.  The program will orient public health practitioners to the signs and symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease and will feature the importance of patient support and the critical role of community public health, nurses, physicians and other medical professionals in an interdisciplinary team-based approach to supporting patients with Parkinson’s Disease.
