SUNY Albany Webinar: Pediatric Computed Tomography (CT) Scans, Radiation, and Risks: Having an Informed Dialogue

University at Albany School of Public Health’s Center for Continuing Public Health Education will present a free, live webcast on Pediatric Computed Tomography (CT) Scans, Radiation, and Risks: Having an Informed Dialogue Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 9:00am – 10:00am ET (8:00am CT).  The free, live webcast will feature Donald P. Frush, MD, FACR, FAAP, Professor of Radiology and Pediatrics; Vice Chair of Quality, Safety and Strategic Vision; and Faculty, Medical Physics Graduate Program, Duke University School of Medicine.  This program focuses will be on describing pediatric radiation dose resulting from CT relative to other radiation exposures, identify dose management strategies for CT, and recognizing strategies for discussing salient information on potential radiation risks from medical imaging with patients and families.
